Qualimed was founded in 1997 in Germany, focusing at the beginning on implantable medical devices for interventional cardiology. Later, the business was expanded to peripheral vascular and non-vascular implants. In recent years, QualiMed has been concentrating on the development of biodegradable technologies combined with active substances. QualiMed has obtained CE approvals for more than 70 products. Their product portfolio includes stents, catheters, drug-based products, and biodegradable technology – all for both the interventional and surgical sector. QualiMed holds more than 70 patents.
Corpax
Corpax is a drug-coated PTCA balloon catheter representing an efficient and clinically proven combination of BTHC and Paclitaxel (2.5 µg/mm2). The product is available in diameters of 1.5–4.0 mm and lengths of 10–40 mm.
